Competition - Krakow Nowa Huta of the future - International ideas

ANNOUNCEMENT COMPETITION: Krakow Nowa Huta of the future

After the CUPA Implementation Lab in Krakow, Huibert A.Haccoû was invited to participate in the International Jury of the Idea Competition on the future of Nova Huta; an area of 50 km2 situated in the eastern part of the municipality of Krakow.

Organiser of this competition is the Municipality of Krakow, Krakow City Hall, Department of City Strategy and Development, in collaboration with the Chief Architect of the City of Krakow.

 

The "International Intervision Institute" is invited to assist the CUPA network in organizing a series of Implementation Labs which can be seen as specific kind of intervision on the spot.
International Intervision Institute, abbreviated iii is a non profit organisation, founded in the Netherlands.

CUPA stands for Cooperative Urban Planning Approaches and is an initiative of the City of Vienna and the Viennese European Development Agency, to create transnational cooperation in solving urban and regional planning problems.

In an Implementation Lab all participants focus in a structured way on spatial planning questions on behalf of a hosting local authority.
